It’s important to talk a bit about Pinot Grigio in particular, especially in the Trentino-Alto Adige portion of this course.
Why? Because when you shop for wines from these regions, you’ll be met with a TON of Pinot Grigios.
Pinot Grigio gets a bad rap, but mainly because there are so many bad examples out there. In terms of imports to America from Italy, Pinot Grigio leads the pack which has also meant a race to the bottom on price.
But great Pinot Grigio is a wonderful wine. As discussed in the video, place matters and who made the wine REALLY matters.
