Overview of Friuli-Venezia Giulia cuisine

Eating in Friuli is fantastic. The top quality of the ingredients, the traditional recipes, and the combination of cultures makes for a distinct style of food that is both delicious and distinctive. You’re not going to find much pizza and pasta here, and red sauce is rarely on the table. Instead, it’s all about the cured hams, the fried cheese dishes, and slow roasted meats.
