Grand Cru vineyards of the Côte de Beaune

One of the largest concentration of Grand Cru vineyards is on the Hill of Corton, where the climat (the sub-plot, or spot within Corton Grand Cru) is often on the label, i.e. Corton Le Clos du Roi

There are eight Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, though the Corton vineyard is officially considered one vineyard even though it has so many personalities.

I’ve added further links for deeper learning on these cherished spots. Those marked with a * are the ones most important to learn a little bit about.
