Jason’s favorite Burgundy producers

With Burgundy, as with most wine regions in the world, I shop by producer first. But even more so with Burgundy than other areas.
I like tracking a producer, or if I can, a wine, over the course of years. On a particularly good vintage I’ll buy pretty deep. On lesser vintages, less so.
THE LEGENDS – I rarely get to taste the wines from these producers but will go to great lengths to try them when available. They are usually way too expensive to procure for my own cellar, so usually I will buy with friends, pour for a wine class, or if I’m lucky I can try them at a trade event.
